Philips Consumer Products hired a 1953 Airstream Flying Cloud for ‘selling’ coffee, juices and french fries during the Radio 3FM charity called Serious Request. The ‘Glass House’ in which DJ’s are locked up for a week without eating was located in Eindhoven this year. Eindhoven is the city where Philips was founded over 100 years ago.

Tijdens de Glazen Huis actie op de markt in Eindhoven is tussen 18 en 24 december een Airstream ingezet door hoofdsponsor Philips. Elke morgen werden verse koffie en juices uitgedeeld aan de veelal verkleumde bezoekers van de Serious Rerquest actie van Radio 3FM.
De Serious Request actie in 2010 gaat de boeken in als 1 van de meest succesvolle edities.
