In opdracht van Bureau voor Reuring heeft Airstream Professionals voor Google NL het “Google House on Wheels” gebouwd. Een compleet gerestylede Airstream caravan bedoeld om demonstraties van de Google producten aan journalisten in te geven. Als basis is een 1963 Airstream Sovereign gebruikt van 30FT.
Voor het eerste PR-event parkeerde het Google House on Wheels op de stoep van het YouTube House in Hillywood. De toekomst is nu: YouTube is het platform en inspiratiebron voor jongeren en ze zijn te bewonderen via Chromecast, smartphone of tablet. Journalisten ontmoeten hier niet alleen de drie gamende bewoners,maar ook beauty YouTube D is for Dazzle of vlog mee met Enzo. Google laat zien welke invloed deze YouTubers hebben en hoe ze dagelijks te volgen zijn.
Voor deze restauratie hebben we de volgende dingen aangepakt:
- Import Airstream en NL kenteken procedure
- Volledige repolish van de huid aan de buitenzijde
- Volledig nieuwe witte wrap met Google signing
- Volledig nieuwe vloer
- Volledig nieuwe binnenbeplating
- 3D interieur ontwerp
- Volledige nieuw interieur
- Nieuwe assen, banden en verlichting exterieur
- Nieuwe 12V en 220V elektrische installatie
- Wrap wit aan de binnenzijde
- LED verlichting dimbaar
- 4G internet, chromecast en chromebooks aanwezig
- Sonos Sound system
- Nieuw interieur (multifunctioneel modulair systeem)

Commissioned by ‘The Bureau Voor Reuring’, Airstream Professionals has built the “Google House on Wheels”. A completely redesigned Airstream trailer to provide demonstrations of Google products to journalists. A 1963 Airstream Sovereign was used as the base for this unique project.
For the first PR event, The Google House on Wheels was parked on the steps of the Hillywood House – famous for it’s YouTube Stars. The future is now: YouTube as a platform and inspiration for young people and how they are admired on Chrome Cast, smartphone or tablet. Journalists did not only meet the three gaming residents, but also YouTube’s Channel D is for Dazzle and You Tube Star Enzo. Google showed how these YouTubers live and how they can be followed daily.
For this restoration, we have addressed the following:
- Import Airstream and Dutch (EU) registration process
- Full repolish the outer skin
- Completely new white wrapfoil with Google signing
- Completely new floor
- Completely new interior trim
- 3D interior design
- new axles, tires and exterior lights
- New 12V and 220V electrical system
- White wrapfoil on the inside
- dimmable LED lights
- 4G internet, chrome cast and chromebooks present
- Sonos sound system
- New interior (multifunctional modular system)
